Phenaris closed species

On the moon of Weiss that orbits Astrion, live the Phenaris. These creatures fly across space collecting supplies and often times work as merchants and some pirates, but some Phenaris do come down to the upper layers of Astrion to help teach winged JRs to fly with the assistance and support of the academy.
However… they are constantly annoyed because the air of the planet isn’t healthy for them, so they don’t descend any lower to the main planet past the floating islands often, unless accompanied by a Modern Vitocyr and/or an Atraxi to assist with breathing so they can do trade with the JR world and pick up supplies for their colony.
They stand between 3-6ft tall, jagged jaws, two clawed fingers and one thumb with winged arms. These feathers and furred areas of their body store cosmic rays to assist with both energy and temporary breath regulation while seeking a Vitocyr or Astrion to do trade on Astrion.

Labelled on the Phenaris is areas where they are bare, areas covered in feathers, fur or even their head donning hair! The darker areas can be bigger, smaller or altered in shape - eg nose and cheek shape can be slimmer, chevroned etc, the darker feather on the arm wings can be webbed (not the forearm itself however)
