Faunas (non-makeable)

Common Tundra spider

This is the Common Tundra Spider, a very docile and fluffy arachnid with very good eyesight that lurks in the snow and caverns. Their back legs are made to hold onto icicles and essentially behave like an orb weaver, snatching any insectoid critters that roam. Their silk is often used to create clothes and even armour and can be persuaded by offering them bugs.

Sharkle

While it looks like an aquatic being of the shark family, the Sharkle is a part of the bug world - the more aquatic look is to ward off potential threats to the holographic crystalline shell on their back that grows with them. These are common near lakes, ponds, rivers, even cave systems! Watch out, they do bite and don’t tend to let go if provoked. Once they do, they’ll usually leave the bitten with a star shaped scar.

Kudlebug

Jolles tend to find them to snuggle up to because their body is like that of memory foam and jelly at the same time. They exude a calming scent and their antennae glow like a little lamp to help lull others to sleep. Very docile.

Volkeetle

The Volkeetle is a beetle that lives in the fire pit as well as underground passages and volcanoes. Most of the time, they’re very docile and prefer to stay out of the way, but they are very sound sensitive. They’re known for biting Brimstone JRs due to them creating too much noise. If that doesn’t work, Volkeetles are known to explode with the force of two packs of tnt, especially if the Brimstone tries to eat it.

Cloveberry Mantis

The Cloveberry Mantis is a very adept hunter, with wings that curl upwards to mimic the petals and leaves of the Cloveberry, meaning anything that drifts too close to the plant is in trouble of being snapped up in those scythe like claws. They’ve even been known to snag a Jolle or two and commonly found in any grasslands!

False Flarefly Wasp

This wasp is highly aggressive and armed with a huge stinger, it’s often getting into fights with Cloveberry mantis and an equal counts of wins and losses. Some Atraxi and Phenaris trade their stingers for use in the medical field as they are often deemed scalpel sharp and the Prismalystals often use the venom as medicines for ailments such as Whyen Decay!

Cardinal Barble

The Cardinal Barble is a very speedy fish indeed, able to take boats for a sudden ride if attempts to catch them are made. They are highly intelligent and use the sudden rides and stops to knock victims into the water before decimating them. You’d need a strong aquatic vehicle with powerful engines to counteract their strength and advanced nets to catch these angry speedsters, but once caught and grilled, they have a taste akin to bluefin tuna.

Crystice Moray

The Crystice Moray lives near the colder oceans and rivers, usually near the bottom but terrible things are said to happen should this moray ever surface. They are hard for Atraxi and other species to catch due to their scales - being so tough as diamonds and the fact they reflect light to blind any possible predators from the surface. They usually get up to 3ft long, but legend says an older leviathan lives in the oceans of the tundras, over 20ft long.

Neyme fish

The Neyme fish - heavily armoured body scales and venomous horns and spines containing a cocktail of neurotoxins make for quite the entertaining matchup. Anyone fishing for this will need to be careful as one touch will render for a slow and painful death by suffocation - taking over 13 hours to fully pass. If prepared correctly and grilled, the meat is sweet and tender with a hint of spiciness to it!

Dryle whale

The Dryle is a whale like creature that is slow and gentle also known as the Aqua Train, offering JRs and other species rides across lakes and seas. For those wishing to visit the underwater cities, the Dryles have an air sac within their mouths that creatures can safely reside in while they dive.
